You will walk along rivers such as the river "Thérain", where it is possible to practice Canoeing and kayaking or the river "Oise", a large river on which cruises are organised during summer (see our Calendar !). During spring time and summer time Introduction to rowing are also available in Creil.
You will walk through forests, fields and quaint villages with their unique stone-built houses, each one different than the following ones !
On foot, by bike or on horseback
The hiking trails are for everyone level, ranging from from 6 km to 13 km. You can roam them on foot, by bike and even on horseback !

Creil Sud Oise area is crossed by two major european cycling routes : The Trans'Oise and the cycling route named The "Massif des Trois Forêts" (meaning the three great forests).
The Trans'Oise
In the Oise department, not far from Creil Sud Oise area, you can travel along theAvenue verte London-Paris and theEuroveloroute n°3 Scandibérique. Find these routes by following the Trans'Oise, a slow traffic route that can be used on foot, by bike or even on rollerblades!

The "Massif des Trois Forêts" (meaning the three great forests)
Cycle to discover the three most beautiful forests in the Oise region ! Follow the departmental route The Massif des Trois Forêt and admire the natural domains of Chantilly, Ermenonville and Halatte from Saint-Maximin (where you can also visit the Maison de la Pierre to discover the history of the limestone quarries that have shaped the south of Oise).
This route crosses the Oise-Pays de France Regional Nature Park,which offers many ideas for walks and hikes You really should follow their signposted itineraries!
