The Bernets: a family renovation
In 2012, François-Xavier and Marie-Astrid, father and daughter, made their dream come true: These two history buffs decided to acquireMontataire’s castle as a family and renovate it.The project involved a colossal amount of work (renovation of the castle's framework and stables, and the wooden floors of the upper floors), as well as hours of research into historical archives, anecdotes and period objects such as dishes and furniture. The result: François-Xavier and Marie-Astrid welcome you and tell you all about the history of this place during fascinating guided tours, conducted with happiness and lots of humor!
Marie-Astrid's partner recently joined the adventure, offering on-site catering for groups and receptions.

You can rent one or more rooms of the Château de Montataire for your receptions in a historical atmosphere (imposing fireplace, wood panelling, ceiling decorations, ans so on!). The little extra: the Bernet family offers you a an already to use service: rental of the room, tables and cutlery, and on-site catering!
