"Variación à tempo" is a show spanning the history of Spanish music - baroque, renaissance and flamenco. A highly artistic work, with elements of pantomime and theatre, philosophical research and breathtaking emotion.
With "Variación a tempo", Sara Jiménez offers a creation in which time bends, speeds up and suspends the breath. Between flamenco heritage and contemporary writing, dance becomes a terrain for exploring inner states: pulsation, listening, rupture, abandonment. The stage is transformed into a space of metamorphosis where music and movement respond to each other in constant tension. A performance of rare intensity, at once carnal, musical and profoundly human.
Sara Jimenez (star of the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía) captivates audiences with her deep, subtle movements, her sensitivity and the originality and intensity of her choreography.
