De Forbon N'Zakimuena
Forbon N'Zakimuena is a committed artist. Halfway between the flow of rap and the force of storytelling, he has long explored questions of origin and identity. In his third creation, with its surprising title, he has chosen to look more specifically at the naturalisation process and the francization of the first names of children born in France to foreign parents.
Interweaving the story of his own naturalisation at the age of 13 with the words of teenagers who have gone through the same experience, this one-man show becomes in turn an intimate narrative and a reflection on identity. Through these lives in search of meaning and affirmation of their name, Forbon N'Zakimuena's show raises, above all, the question of integration in contemporary France.
