From the 06 juin 2026
Château de Chantilly 60500 CHANTILLY
from 10h00 to 18h00
On the face of it, you wouldn't expect to find any Napoleonic memorabilia at the Musée Condé, whose name pays tribute to the dynasty of the Princes of Condé, whose last representative, the Duc d'Enghien, was shot on the orders of Bonaparte, then First Consul.
In fact, following in the reconciliatory footsteps of his father, King Louis-Philippe, the Duc d'Aumale has taken an interest in the Emperor and his history, and has brought together performances, historical memorabilia, archives and books, many of which are little known or have never been shown to the public. While Caroline Murat will be showcased at the Jeu de Paume, the cabinet of books will display the little-known and sometimes extraordinary memorabilia of her illustrious brother.
From 6 June to 4 October at the Cabinet des Livres, Château de Chantilly
