Louis, 34, returns to the family home one Sunday after years of absence. He thinks he's coming to say something essential, but it's the others who take over the silence. The reunion turns into a cacophony, words collide, and listening skills crumble.
Guillaume Barbot's staging is visceral and sensory, full of rhythms and images. A family out of balance, time slipping away, love overflowing.
Juste la fin du monde is all about love, love that is said badly, love that is too full, love that hurts. And time, time that passes, time that leaves its mark, time that engulfs us.
