AMOI, in partnership with the Creil media libraries, invites you to discover the exhibition "Une si belle époque? Méru and its region from 1900 to 1914" at the Jean-Pierre Besse media library in Creil from 19 September 2025 to 3 January 2026.
Nineteenth-century industry was associated with difficult working conditions. The "Belle Époque" did not revolutionise everything, and the economic and social situation was far from ideal for everyone.
This exhibition tells the story of daily life and social conflicts in the Méru region between 1900 and 1914.
