Abbey church 60340 SAINT-LEU-D'ESSERENT
On the weekend of 17 and 18 May, travel back in time to Saint-Leu d'Esserent to discover the town under German occupation and during the period of Reconstruction at the end of the Second World War. A rich and varied programme is on offer around the abbey church:
Saturday 17 May: 11am to 10pm
1) The stalls run by the "Recollectif" re-enactment association open at 11am:
German administration / Logistics and transmission / German speech / Speech DDay
2) Reconstruction guided tours with an actor interpreting Max Ingrand (explanation of Ingrand's stained glass windows + others): 2pm / 4pm / 6pm
3) Free stroll: Before/After World War II special: exhibition of photographs
Sunday 18 May: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
1) Opening of the stands run by the "Recollectif" re-enactment association from 11am to 1pm:

2) Free stroll: Before/After World War II special: photo exhibition
