Rain is in the spotlight for Water Week! Sometimes a source of life, sometimes a source of inspiration. Through workshops, exhibitions and encounters, (re)discover the Nonette valley that connects us all. Get your umbrellas ready... or your rain dreams!
Saturday 14th June
- 2 p.m. - "Taking on rainwater waste! Find out what the rainwater waste collection net in the Nonette has collected! Car park, quai de la canardière, Chantilly
Sunday 15 June
- 11 a.m. - Inauguration of the street of umbrellas and poems about rain. Impasse Corot, Gouvieux
- 3pm - Nature and water treasure hunt. Plaine de Jeux in Gouvieux
Wednesday 18 June
- 2.30 pm - "Imagine the city of tomorrow: a sponge city to manage rain". Workshop for children. Chantilly, meeting point specified on registration. Registration: m.labbe@ville-chantilly.fr
- 5pm - Family guided tour of JADEN and the Art en Chemin exhibition. JADEN Chantilly (24 Rue de la Nonette)
Thursday 19 June
- 10 a.m. - Day-long guided bike ride. Infiltration techniques in rural areas and rainwater recovery in companies. (visit to Aquarelle). Leaving from Brasseuse, approximately 20km on minor roads and tracks. Bring your own picnic. Return around 5pm. Registration: c.morvan@sisn.fr
Friday 20 June
- 4.15pm - The hedge: a way of preventing rainwater run-off. Inauguration of the hedge and awareness panels created by Rully school. Rully school, 9 grande Rue
- 9.30 pm - Animals that love the rain. Discover the fascinating little creatures that survive thanks to the rain.

All week long
At the Chantilly media library (34 rue d'Aumale): "Symphonie de gouttes d'eau" photography exhibition by Pascal Vergne, who specialises in water droplet collision photography. The artist will be at the media library on Saturday 14 June - 2pm to 6pm.
Every drop counts" participatory installation. Take part in our rain of commitments: write your idea for a gesture for water on a paper drop and hang it on our collective fresco.
