Mayor of Rousseloy, committed to organic food for all<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Conceived in 2011, opened 8 years later, in 2019, Bio For All<\/strong> illustrates very well the Mr Rosier's will<\/strong>Mayor of Rousseloy, vice-president of the communaut\u00e9 de communes and organic producer, to make his commune the green lung of the Creil Sud Oise conurbation<\/strong>*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rousseloy, a 100% organic commune<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rousseloy is a pretty village<\/strong> nestled in a green bower<\/strong>typical of the south of the Oise with its beautiful stone houses<\/strong> and its underground quarries<\/strong> barely concealed behind the abundant vegetation. On every plot in this village, \"rousseloy' (runoff) a spring<\/strong>. And these sources, like the health of its 300 constituents<\/strong>Mr Rosier, mayor of the commune (6th<\/sup> mandate), takes the greatest care of it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is with an iron will thathe succeeded in building a 100% organic island<\/strong> All the producers who work in Rousseloy are certified organic<\/strong>and thus surrounding the village of Pesticide-free fields, for almost a kilometre!<\/strong> The results are there, the figures speak for themselves: in 30 years, the nitrate level in spring water has drastically decreased, thanks to the cessation of pesticide use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bio For All<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

And Mr Rosier did not stop there!<\/strong> In the 2010s, a ambitious project<\/strong> whose main leitmotif is consumer health <\/strong>: making organic food accessible to all<\/strong>at prices that defy all competition. The challenge is launched, and it is 8 years later, in 2019, that Bio Pour Tous is born, a company bringing together a thirty or so producers and organic farmers<\/strong>mainly from the local area. Among them are, for example, young producers who only work withancient breeds of hay-fed dairy cows<\/strong> (no corn here!), distributing milk, cheese and tasty yoghurt every Thursday. For bread, it is a Senlis bakery<\/strong>A few kilometres away, which supplies more than a hundred loaves of bread with the flavours of yesteryear (and organic, of course) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the ingenious self-contained of lockers <\/strong>which is one of the the largest food distributors <\/strong>with its few 740 regularly replenished storage units <\/strong>(sometimes up to 6 times a day as demand is so high!), customers also benefit from organic and seasonal fruit and vegetables<\/strong> potatoes, onions, shallots, carrots, strawberries or peaches... all at an excellent quality-price ratio, sometimes cheaper than conventional, and in any case cheaper than the organic food you find in the supermarket!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the sheds above the crates, up to forty employees work, handling a few 4 thousand tonnes of fruit and vegetables <\/strong>which are stored there and then sent to other distributors. Thanks to this immediately accessible storage place, Bio Pour Tous guarantees optimal freshness of its products<\/strong> which never stay in their locker for more than 2 days.<\/p>\n\n\n
